Michael R. Booher is a lifelong resident of the Dayton area.
Growing up in Kettering, he attended Fairmont High school where he was a National Merit Scholar. He then attended Miami University in Oxford Ohio, where he distinguished himself by being on the Dean’s List or Roll in every term. He graduated in 1978 with a degree in Political Science. Mike attended law school at The Ohio State University, graduating in 1981. He has practiced in Southwest Ohio since that time. From 1982 until 1996, he was a partner in the Middletown firm of Finkleman, Forshaw, Milbauer and Booher.
From 2001 until 2013, Mike was the managing attorney of Student Legal Services at Wright State University, as well as practicing criminal and bankruptcy law privately. While at Wright State, he personally saw over 800 student clients per year, handling a wide variety of legal issues all over the greater Dayton region. In criminal cases, he won his last 5 jury trials for WSU students. He has made court appearances in over 20 Ohio counties, but practices primarily in the greater Dayton area, serving Montgomery, Greene Warren, Butler and Clark counties.
Mike is licensed in Ohio, Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Dayton, Greene County, Florida and Ohio State Bar Associations. In the Dayton Bar Association, he has served for a number of years as a member of the Certified Grievance Committee. He and his wife live in Centerville and enjoy travel, motorsports, and skiing in their spare time.
